Dear NYSBUA Chapter Presidents and Secretaries:
The Annual NYSBUA Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Castle Creek Firehouse on Castle Creek Road in Binghamton, NY. The meeting will begin at 9:00 AM. All NYSBUA Chapters are required to attend the annual meeting. Each chapter may have two voting delegates. Other NYSBUA members are welcome to attend as well.
Room reservations may be made at the Comfort Inn, 1000 Front Street in Binghamton. The phone number is 607-724-3297. Your room must be reserved by September 8th. The cost is $80.00 per room.
The Annual Banquet will be held on Saturday October 2nd, at Nirchi's on the Avenue at 215 Washington Ave, in Endicott. A buffet style dinner will be served with cash bar at 6:00 PM and dinner at 7:00 PM. The NYSBUA will pay for two dinners per chapters. If your chapter is not going to attend the dinner notify Eric Olsen at eolsen@stny.rr.com. Failure to notify us of not attending the banquet will result in your chapter being charged for the two meals. If you need additional meals, please reserve for those as well.
The Education Committee is planning a program on Saturday that will include on-field work. It is recommended that each chapter have a representative or interpreter present. More details will follow in the September mailing. For any item a chapter would like added to the agenda, please notify me by September 10th.
